35 Weeks Pregnant

35 weeks pregnant and let me tell you about the most AMAZING feeling I had this week! Baby had her self shoved up on my stomach. As I was sitting there.....waiting for my Sonic order ;-).....I felt what felt like breathing movements coming from you. It was so amazing and sweet. I looked it up and yes many woman explain how at a rare moment you can feel your baby practicing their breathing in your belly. SOOOOO SWEET!
Almost have the nursery done. Got the rocker glider and painted that bad boy white LOL! Just need to put a few things on the walls!

35 weeks!

Oh look I bought a maternity top ;-)

XOXO,
Jess

34 pregnant

At 34 weeks I did my hospital tour. TOTALLY bumbed that my husband didn't get off work in time to go....really I was not happy.
Anyways....I got to see the beautiful hosptial I will be delivering at. Where to go when I come in, the room to wait for my c section, where I will recover and the room I will be in afterward. The nurses are so nice there. They also told us all about the technology they have and baby monitoring.
My doctor visit went great. I told him about the sharp shooting pains in my cervix that I have been having. He said it's perfectly normal. The baby is just pushing down on the cervix. He also gave me a prescription for my lovely acid reflux. OH BTW a maternity pillow REALLY does help with this too. LOVE MINE! I went over all my millions of questions/concerns I had about my RCS. And we set a date for 39 weeks so on May 20th. I have to be there at 5:30 in the morning.....fun. LOL. Oh and I had to go get blood work done to make sure my iron levels are good to go for the surgery.
I finished the LAST piece of the bedding this week YAHHHH! Putting that bed skirt on was a tough one but I got it ;-).
Did I mention this baby girl has the hicups like at least twice a day EVERY DAY!

Here I am 34 weeks pregnant!

33 Weeks

33 Weeks pregnant and I have SOOOOOOOOOO much heart burn and acid reflux it SUCKS! I went shopping with my 8 year old this weekend and got just about everything we still needed for baby. I have washed everything...just need to get the carpets cleaned and put her dresser in her room. She is moving a lot too. OH! And I got the car seat installed WHOO HOO! ;-)
Let's see what else, I made my list of what I need to get packed and all the important info. and numbers I need written down.

And here is my belly shot!

32 weeks pregnant

HELLLO 32 weeks pregnant!!!
Well this week I got to go to my 32 week check up and ultrasound. Guess what?! I was right! Baby did turn! She is now head down where she is suppose to be and will not be flipping back around per doc.
She weighs 4 1/2 pounds, couldn't get a length because she was being stuburn and had her feet and hands in her face.
Doc says my dizzy spells are because she is blocking blood flow to my brain.....uhhhhh YIKES! He says he can do nothing about it and it will probably get worse as she gets bigger, lovely. His advice.... be careful driving. Thanks doc....
The first thing doc pointed out was "See all those spiky things? That's all her HAIR!" OMG a baby girl with hair?! AWWWWWW ;-)!!!! I got to see of her fingers and toes, I made sure her umbilical cord wasn't wrapped around her neck....me being a little over protective already?! maybe.... LOL
Everything about her is perfect and I'm doing great. Hard to get a profile pic because she didn't want to be disturbed. Oh and weight I'm still at only 18 pounds since pre pregnancy. Yah me!

32 weeks 4 days ultrasound

32 Weeks pregnant

Now time to pick up the rest of the baby items we need and finish the nursery!

31 Weeks Pregnant

Well 31 weeks and 8 month pregnant   I can still fit in my size small tops....with a tank top under LOL. Baby is moving non stop. Had a pretty bad scare in the car this week. Thought I was gonna black out! YIKES!!! I got really dizzy and couldn't control it. Called doc and was told to start logging my dizzy spells and we would go over it at 32 week check up.
Ohhh I got another pregnancy massage this week ;-). It was lovely.
Other then that nothing new. Picking up items we still need here and there. Hopefully will get the nursery done soon!

30 Weeks Pregnant

Now last week I was 30 weeks pregnant. And OMG it was a hard week for me. So I already new at 28 weeks baby was breached plus I knew because well I could feel her in both my rib cakes at the same time! So I am pretty positive that she turned. All last week I had horrible pains and pressure. I was miserable. And by the end of the week I only feel her down low and up high. We shall see at my next ultrasound at 32 weeks.
I had a doctors appt. this week for my 30 week check up. So far I have gained 18 pounds which I consider good! Doc told me to eat more and so I am LOL. I registered for the hospital while I was there and informed the doc that I scheduled our hospital tour. I don't plan on taking classes since I did all of those with big sis.
At this doc appt the doc asked a bunch of questions like what kind of BC do I want to use after birth. Do I plan to breast feed. If I go into labor before my scheduled c section at 39 weeks I can come in and say HEY I want my c section! or I can try a vback it's up to me at this point. I'm still scared to try a vback due to the horrible experience I had with my daughter. Doc said this baby is very unlikely to be OP like she was. But again it's totally up to me how I want to deliver. He also told me that after 32 weeks NO traveling to the coast, which is 4 hours away. He doesn't want me delivering at the coast....neither do I LOL! Let's see....what else did the good doc tell me to do...OH! Call him if I have any contractions bleeding water breaks all the big signs of YOUR IN LABOR. And if at any time I don't feel baby move for 4 hours straight to go lie down in a quiet dark place see if I can feel her and still nothing call him.
And by the way YES I plan on breastfeeding. I plan on nursing full time for as long as possible/pumping. AND I am planning on cloth diapering. So as of now I'm trying to find some cloth diapering mommas I can get advise from!

OH! Went ahead and set up some of the baby gear! All was given to us THANK YOU FRIENDS XOXO Except the Arms Reach Co Sleeper. I got that for a great price on Craigslist. The couple bought it brand new and only used it for a few weeks. I wanted it because I plan on having a csection and nursing for as long as possible. This bassinet can be used closer to 6 months instead of just barely 3 months like normal bassinets.

 Arms Reach Co Sleeper
 Pack N Play
wing and comfy rocker sling....thingy LOL

Here's my 30 week pic!

AND here is a BONUS LOL! I took an up close BELLY pic ;-). Still rocking my pre pregnancy size small pants LOL

29 Weeks Pregnant

OMG!!! Boo on me! I can't believe I have gotton so far behind!
OK well back when I was 29 weeks pregnant I had my BABY SHOWER!!! It was a perfect shower. My Aunts threw it for me at La Madeline restaurant. My MIL ordered cute cupcakes with babies on them and strawberry cake balls YUMMM! I got lots of cute stuff and some beautiful hand made items from my Aunt. Love them!
This week was also Spring Break. OHHHH yah now I remember why I got behind LOL! My daughter was horribly sick all week. High fevers ect. Thanks goodness momma did NOT get sick. YAHHH ME! But it was an exhausting week.
After the shower I made my list of things I still need....which is a LOT. EACK!
Here are some baby shower pics along with a few of the hand made items

28 weeks pregnant

HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY! This week I went for a follow up ultrasound to check on my low lying placenta. And guess what.... ALL CLEAR!!! HAPPY DANCE HAPPY DANCE! So no restrictions for ME!
Baby is beached but has time to flip. Hope she does because she is beating up both sides of my rib cage at the same time.
Baby weighs 2 lbs 15 oz. That's almost THREE POUNDS! Goodness! And in her sono picture it kinda looks like she has HAIR! LOL
Let's see what else this week....I gained a lil weight. Guess that's what happens when the doc orders you to EAT. OHHHHH!!!! And my baby shower is this Saturday! I started receiving gifts in the mail from out of town guests. How exciting! I also got in the mail the vintage 7 year baby record book that I ordered off of Ebay. LOVE IT! It's that same one that I used for for my older daughter.
Alright ya'll next week I'll be able to share about my baby shower! Can't wait to see fam & friends, eat good food and cake and BABY STUFF!

27 weeks

Well last week....sorry....I was 27 weeks ;-). Nothing exciting. Baby was moving a lot. I've been feeling fine. Getting anxious about the weeks flying by. Thinking of how blessed I am to be the one to carry this little bundle of joy inside of me for 9 months ;-)
I DID go and find my dress for my baby shower! And I ended up buying two pairs of maternity leggings for the summer and two summer tops, it was a buy one get one free deal! I tried on some maternity shorts and BAHAHAHAHAHAHA I almost died laughing. My little chicken legs looked ridiculous. So it's dresses and leggings for this momma!

Here's my 27 week pic!

26 Weeks Pregnant

I feel like I have really POPPED...so not comfortable LOL. Even hubby said WOAH that belly has grown! LOL
So week 26 has been pretty good. Baby girl is kicking all the time and I do mean like ALLL NIGHT LONGGGGGG. Oh and I got my first Braxton Hick this week. Woke me right out of my sleep! I had them a lot with my older daughter so we shall see how this pregnancy goes.
Hmmm what else! Well we finished more of the baby bedding! The diaper stacked, crib blanket and organizer! And my baby shower invitations went to all my guests! Super excited about that!
Other then that I have just been starting to get a little stressed about making sure we hurry up and get ready for baby to be here and how my older daughter will be cared for when I go in for my csection. Since she will still have two weeks of school at that point. That really stresses me out LOL.
Brainstorming on how I want to make the DIY mobile and what decorations I want to use on the wall :-) I think I need the crib and dresser in the room so I can get INSPIRED!

Here's my belly pic!

25 weeks pregnant

So 25 weeks pregnant went pretty well ;-). Only issue I had was ....dizzy spells. I tarted having episodes were I got blurred vision and dizzy. I called my doc and he had me come in to check my blood pressure but blood pressure was fine. He asked me how my glucose test came back. I told him ummmm....wellll....I never got a call back so I ASSUMED I passed. Doc checked the results and found that my blood sugar was actually very low for some one who just drank a bunch of sugar. He asked me how much I eat. And I admitted I'm not the best at remembering to eat. I do eat I just don't eat a lot. My snacks are fruit & veggies. Doc says my body over produces insulin so I need to EAT... and he isn't talking about fruits and veggies he wants me to eat snacks all day long anything to get carbs ect. in me. I'm suppose to call him on Monday to tell him how I'm doing.
Besides that week 25 was great! We finished painting the nursery  Grape Hyacinth 25% lighter. And I finished the curtains and put them up on a beautiful curtain rod from Lowe's. And my Aunt finished the crib bumper! So excited!
I also found a cloth diaper at Target called Charlie Banana that has disposable inserts. AWESOME! I'm really wanting to use these! I bought one to start. I plan on getting one a week until baby comes. I also added them to my registry. I'll put up a separate post about it ;-).
As for me still at 10 lbs, still wearing normal tops but size 1 or SX maternity jeans. It's getting harder to shave or get comfy and I certainly can't eat large meals at one time. I fill up immediately. Baby is always in my rib cage.
OH OH OH!! Hubby got me a gift certificate for a massage at Blooming Pregnancy for my Valentines Day gift! I'm going to make myself try to wait on using it LOL....this will be hard.

24 Weeks Pregnant

Ohhh yes the last week of my second trimester! Which means I'll be 7 months on Saturday which means the beginning of being uncomfortable...LOL
So went to my 24 week appointment this week. Doc says I'm measuring perfectly. Babies heart beat is 104 a minute which is perfect. I'm up 10 pounds from pre pregnancy weight which is great. All though big sisters bday was this week and I have had a lot of cake.....I'm bout to take my behind for a walk after I post ;-).
Baby has found my rib cage this week. Ahhhhhh the joys of getting bigger. I really do enjoy watching her move across my stomach. It cracks me up. But girrrrl once she gets something caught in my rib cage I swear I jump right out of my seat!
Starting to pick up a few items for the baby. I'm getting nervous that the day is getting closer and we don't have much of anything yet. Especially none of the essentials  I can't wait for my baby shower so I can feel better and know what we need to plan to buy ourselves.
Other then baby growing I'm feeling great. Still wearing my XS maternity pants that are a lil big. And still wearing normal tops just putting tanks under most if they are getting to short.
Next doc appt. is at 28 weeks. I get another sonogram to check on my low lying placenta and then I go back to see my doc about the results. Hoping for the best!

23 Weeks pregnant

Helllo 23 weeks! Only one more week after this of my 2nd trimester HOLY MOLY! Can't believe it!
So this week I'm doing great. Still congested but I looked up some tips for my RLS.
*Don't drink caffeine too late
*Don't lay in bed watching TV before you go to bed, wait to lay down until you are actually going to bed.
So far they are working! I also stole my small decor pillow that I put on y bed to use in between my legs which helps.
OHHH ooooh lala I got my 1st pregnancy massage at Blooming Pregnancy. LOVED IT! They give you $25 every time you spend $50. They really want you to keep coming back! I went right to sleep last night I was so relaxed.
This week I'm trying not to over do myself with getting ready for my older daughters 8th birthday party this weekend but I know I am LOL. As soon as I get off the computer I need to run BACK to the store for the millionth time this week to get the rest of what I'm making. One of my DIY Pom Pom's died from death of spilled milk last night (rest in piece pink pom pom) so I need to get more tissue paper and who know what else. I ave a list.....on my phone LOL. Not only do I forget EVERYTHING these days but even when I write a list I forget to take the list! So I down loaded a Note app to my phone to help a preggo momma out ;-).
Next week I have my 24 week appt. I'm thinking it will include my glucose test....fun. AND it's big sis' actual bday next week. The big EIGHT! I can't believe in a few short months I will give birth to another baby girl after EIGHT years! :-)

Here's my 23 week pic. I'm barely holding on here at like 4:30 LOL! That massage had me relaxed!

XOXO,
Jess

22 weeks pregnant

Welllll I never got around to posting last week for my 22nd week of pregnancy LOL. but the week was just great!
22 weeks meant 6 month mark WHOO HOO! Still feeling good. I have congestion and RLS but besides that baby is a thumping away in my tummy. I picked out colors for her nursery walls. Well let me rephrase that. I picked SEVERAL purples and I narrowed them down to two. I'm going back one more time to see if one I like looks even better another 25% lighter. I'm so excited to get our DIY nursery started so I can share with everyone!

19 Weeks Pregnant

HAPPY NEW YEARS EVERYONE!
Well I spent my first day of the new in the ER! I have been coughing since the 20th and then yesterday it was uncontrollable and horrible so I went to the ER. They "diagnosed" me with Bronchitis  Lovely....but the ZPak they gave me hit the spot no more cough! Happy because it was exhausting and I'm assuming not that great for baby or Placenta Previa.
Other then that I have been doing good. Still fitting in normal tops but I noticed they are getting tight around the belly. I got an Old Navy gift card for Christmas so I ordered two pairs of Rock Star Skinny Jeans. I'll let you know how those fit LOL. OHHHHH and I started our registry at Babies R Us and Buy Buy Baby!!! So exciting! I went ahead and did all the small stuff you know bottles ect. I'm going back this weekend to both places with hubby this weekend to pick out the big stuff. I still plan on making the bedding, we will see how that goes. I'm so excited to get started!
As for baby girl she likes my right side. She has to be on something because I can't sleep on that side if I do I get a horrible cramp that something is being smooshed. Too bad for me cause that's my favorite side and it means I face my humidifier ...whhhaaahh. I need one of those $60 maternity body pillows! Wishful thinking... ;-).
Well here's my pic. I think I was either pushing the chalk board into my tummy or something cause week 19 looks smaller then week 18 but I KNOW that's not true LOL!

Jess

18 weeks pregnant

Merry Christmas everyone! Hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and got some goodies ;-).

Well this week I'm 18 weeks pregnant AKA FIVE MONTHS!
I'm feeling better as in my cramping isn't as bad at all. That could be because the insane Christmas rush is now over and I have been home hanging out instead of running around crazy LOL. Oh and guess what?! I have been feeling baby move a little lately! Happy happy! Hoping that means by 20 weeks my Placenta Previa will have corrected itself. Here's to crossing fingers and praying!
Other then that I have been fighting a congestive cough. By the way the Neti Pot does NOT help with this so I'm SOL LOL. Cough meds help at night but make me sleep mouth wide open in other words I wake up all dry and yucky mouthed with a sore throat. Nice......
Baby girl got two teddies for Christmas :-). One is a soft angel Teddy bear that sings a lullaby and moves it's head. The other is one of those pacifier teddy bears. You loop the pacifier into a loop on the bears hand so if baby throws the paci you can reach behind you...while driving...LOL and feel for a teddy bear instead of a small pacifier ;-). And a good friend who's baby is 6 months gave me their super cute infant swing and matching bassinet. Big thanks to them!!!
Weight- Still the same yahhh me. Even though I'm not really exercising at all because of the pressure I get after I walk of stand for too long I'm still at 109. So still only 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight. Happy about that!

Here's my pic! Happy Holidays everyone! I'll post again next year ;-). Hopefully next week I will get my registry started! I'll update you on it.

17 weeks pregnant

OK so sorry, Christmas has made me a little behind! So last week I was 17 weeks pregnant.

By the way if you didn't already know....IT'S A GIRL!!!! YAHOOOOO! SOOOO EXCITED!!! We got out our cards to our close friends and fam then I announced on Facebook! SOOOOO excited for our baby girl! She already has a few outfits ;-). CA-UUUUUUUUUTE!

At 17 weeks I was having lots of bad cramping. I couldn't stand/walk for long periods of time. Sooooo I was told by my doc I had to buy a maternity belt to help support the pressure the baby was making. Oh and I was told I could take Extra Strength Tylenol  Let me tell you finding a size small maternity belt is not easy. I finally broke down and drove to the mall...days before Christmas.....fun.
Apparently there are three brands of maternity belts ranging from $20, $30 and $40. I asked to try on the $20 belt. The sale woman and Motherhood Maternity told me she normally does not recommend anyone to buy this belt it doesn't give woman enough support. But she said since I am so small I should try it. I did and it was fine. The "expert" sales woman who was very informative, said she thinks in my case the $20 belt would be fine for me and do what I needed it to do. The curious person I am I asked "Well, What's the difference in the belts besides the price?" She let me try on the $30 belt so I could see the difference. My $20 belt really just is the shape of a belt. It raps around your belly, you Velcro in front. You are suppose to down by your pelvic bone to support under your belly. Then there are two strips of Velcro on each side to tighten the belt. Now the other two belts have a wider band part on the back to support your back more. I opted for the $20 belt. It wasn't as bulky, less expensive and seemed more comfortable.
Besides the pain I was in most of that week, and missing out on walking the trail of lights with the kids.I also got a cold AGAIN!!!! This time it's a lingering cough with congestion....lovely.

Let's see what else was I up to in Week 17. I started looking around for Thanksgiving and Christmas outfits in the size baby girl will need next year. Found some good deals on Clearance! I started planning her DIY nursery :-)! Gotta love Pinterest!

By the way here is a good website I found if you can't figure out what trimester or month you are actually in.

16 weeks Pregnant

Well I have had an eventful week! Went to my 16 week appt. on Monday. I explained to the doc that I had been feeling baby since week 11, movements got stronger and more frequent at week 14. Then at week 15 NOTHING. I feel nothing. No flutters no thumping in there. So doc decided to be safe and do an ultrasound. Well I found out two things. One....the sex of the baby :-) and two....PLACENTA PREVIA! Not good. I have a low lying placenta as of now. Hopefully as baby grows my placenta will move to the correct spot. We will check again at week 20. But baby was doing great! Lots of crazy karate moves going on in there. Moving so much doc couldn't even get a picture!
So on Wednesday I had already had a 2D sono scheduled at Blooming Pregnancy in Austin so hubby could come along and we had planned to find out the sex of the baby. So technically this sono was double checking to make sure LOL. So YUP we know what team we are! I'll announce on next weeks post after everyone gets their Christmas cards. The sonographer also confirmed my Placenta Previa. .
Baby is still measuring big and probably will the whole pregnancy. I'm looking forward to another long skinny baby ;-).
OHHHHH and guess what else came to visit this week.....Round ligament pains....sad face. Drink lots of water it helps.
As for my Placenta Previa I looked it up and as the doc called it "Yes it's a BIG DEAL" if it doesn't fix itself. It can cause bleeding episodes and I'll have a lot more restrictions OH and I will be forced to have a repeat csection. As of now I am still debating a csection or Vback. Guess Placenta Previa will make up my mind.

Here are some sono pics minus the pics showing what we are having ;-). Feel free to take a guess!

15 weeks pregnant

15 weeks preggo and going strong! LOL So let's see how's my week been going....I've worn myself out LOL! Christmas is a huge distraction when counting down the weeks till babies arrival.
Last week I started feeling baby moving around a lot more and stronger. BUT this week NOTHING :-(. I of course was a little worried. I called the doc and nurse tells me to not worry about it I have an appt. next week. Told me to try to lay in a quiet space drink something cold and or sweet and see if I feel anything....I feel nothing. BOOOO. She says baby might be hiding behind the placenta. I want this little bun in the over to get active! We have our early sono next week and I WANT to see "PARTS" LOL.
On the bump I got from some woman they had the same thing no movement for a week or two then baby started moving steady again. So hopefully come next week I'll have my little kick boxer back. I will be wishing for the opposite come 3rd trimester I know. But right now the little movements make me at peace.
So anyways besides driving myself nuts with planning Christmas, shopping for Christmas and planning our Gender reveal photo  on top of working part time and volunteering I am doing A OK. Feeling fine lots of energy even when I'm exhausted  I did how ever almost cry the other morning. After craving a Kolache I started to eat it and.....baby said NO BUENOS! WHHHHAAAAHHHHHH! I wanted that dang Kolache too LOL!
Next update will be next Wednesday after I have had my 16 week check up AND my early sono AND my first dentist appt while I'm pregnant. Uhhhh I hate the dentist.
OH real quick I ran across this website on the Bump and wanted to share. It has great ideas for Maternity Fashion!

14 weeks pregnant

YAWWWWWWWWWWWNNNNNNNNNNN good evening everyone! I'm actually posting on the day I took the belly shot (pat myself on back). That partly has to do with the fact I wanted to upload tonight's pictures of our towns annual tree lighting and partly because my hubby is playing PS3.
So I officially feel out of my 1st trimester. I have energy, I'm running around all day already getting ready for baby. PROBLEM is my anxiety at night is back which keeps my head spinning at night. Not bad things of course just my normal craft visions and decor visions running rampped through my mind all night not allowing me to sleep. All week seriously. I'm so exhausted right now I could lay my head down on my keyboard zzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Weight?- I refuse to look at the scale last time I did I was still under 110 which of course is fine but I'm still eating like it's Turkey day and haven't exercised all week. I wish my mind racing all night counted for burning calories hmmmmm....We are finding out in TWO weeks what we are having YAHOOO! But like I said I'm keeping a lid on it till everyone gets their Christmas cards!!!
How's baby?- I am feeling baby a lot more. Flutters have gotten a little stronger AND everyone once in awhile I feel a tiny KICK/PUNCH. Makes me smile ear to ear! Next appt. is December 10th, same week we go for our 2D sono!
How am I feeling?- Well I mentioned NO sleep. My back pain has also kicked in. I have inflammation in my back from when I gave birth to Alaina, worst back labor EVERRRRRR. So now that I can't take the drink I had been drinking for it inflammation is back now that I'm growing and my back is in pain and feels on fire. I also can't lay/sleep on my back anymore. Starting this week it's very uncomfortable  I don't remember that this early last time. But apparently 14 weeks is a normal time for your back to start getting uncomfortable, lovely... Oh and Per my daughter today my belly is growing, thanks kid!
Here's my pic and I'm sneaking one in of my daughter from tonight sitting with Santa and Mrs. Claus. I asked Santa for a Maternity pillow and unlimited gift certificates for prenatal massages. Go and and take care of that Mr. & Mrs. C! ;-)
