Turkey Clip Instructions

Want to make a Turkey clip for your little princess turkey? I documented myself making one for my daughter last night.
Here is what you will need:
3/8" Brown Grosgrain- One 7" length, one 4.25" length, one 3" length, ribbon to line your clip.
3/8" Orange Grosgrain- Two 3.5" lengths, one 5/8 length
3/8" Red Grosgrain- One 3.5" length, one 1.5" length
Alligator Clip
Scissors
Lighter
Hot Glue Gun

Start by pre-cutting all of your ribbon to the lengths listed above.

Then line your alligator clip with Brown Ribbon, remember to heat seal your ends

Now take your 7.5" length of yellow ribbon and make it into two loops, like a figure 8. Dab a small amount of glue in the center to hold the loops together.
With the two orange pieces and the red 3.5" piece form single loops and glue them to the yellow piece like so...
Now carefully glue your two orange loops to the yellow figure 8 and your red on e in the middle. It should look like a fan
Now for the body you need to take the longer piece of brown ribbon and make a small loop at the end. The small loop should be around 5/8" wide at the widest part. Then make a big loop with the tail and glue it as well. Like this...
With the shorter pieces of brown you are going to make loops like this. Start with the 2nd longest brown glue it to the back of the first one and then do the same to the smaller one. The smallest one should be in the middle.
You should then have two pieces like this...
Now it's time to glue the "feathers" to the clip.

Now flip your body over and glue it to the feather like this.
To make your beak take you 5/8" length of orange and cut it into a V shape. Heat seal the sides with your lights.
Now take your 1.5" length ribbon fold it in half and glue it.Glue your red ribbon to your beak and your beak to your turkey :-). Cut your goblet to your preferred size.

Spray your Turkey with your stiffener mix and in the morning your princess with have a beautiful Turkey upon her beautiful head!
